Claudia Herbst-Tait is a tenured professor at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY, teaching in the Department of Digital Arts, with a practice centered on lighting and rendering and interdisciplinary approaches to 3D media. She is also a published author in media journals and anthologies.

Technical Work

Lighting, rendering, and tool-focused work on ArtStation.

Work includes 3D printing across bronze, porcelain and food, as well as large-scale weaving, and crystal engraving — different materials, with one continued interest in how virtual form takes real shape.
